...we will give you ours. While you stay with us, go ahead and keep your watch stowed away in a safe. Who knows, maybe we will all sometime realize that our sense of time is nothing but an illusion, one to which we have succumbed for millennia...

What is time anyway?

...we rush through the world like express trains, racing from one place to another. We are simply no longer aware of what is happing to the left and right of us. And yet, at the same time, we waste so much time without even realizing that those valuable minutes or hours are lost forever.

To us, elements such as the sky and the blue of the deep oceans seem almost endless. The wind shows us that everything is in motion; if it at once becomes still, then all is quiet, motionless, transitory.

For your body, we have a wonderful selection of mouthwatering Salzburg specialties, while your soul is certain to feast on our beautiful countryside and friendly people. Our Austrian head chef, Uwe Koch, and his team celebrate harmony for body and soul - every day anew, either vegetarian and light, fulsome or lavish buffets - and always delicious.

We invite you to participate in the flow of give and take.  We invite you to take a vacation amid countryside that offers so much to make us stronger. We try to always live in close companionship with Mother Nature. This begins in the selection of products, many of which come either from our own farm or from regional producers and suppliers; it is also reflected in the atmosphere of the hotel, the decor of our rooms (all rooms feature the work of local cabinetmakers) and in so much more.

It is hard to describe precisely what makes a hotel what it is. What gives it that certain something, made up of so many small visible and intangible details, yet uniting into one single whole.
